Ardrossan was the first of our good decisions in relation to our Mudgee trip, especially your welcome and our breakfasts - others were dinner at the Blue Wren, the Saturday markets; Andrew Harris and the Farmer's Daughter wineries, the Gulgong Museum; St Marys Church; the Country Lane Antique Shop; Butcher Shop Cafe; walk along the streets of Mudgee township; lunch at the Railway Station; the views of the surrounding countryside; our pub crawl; and our stops in between - sandwiches at Sandy Hollow, the old cemetery at Jerry's Plains and the Packer "Ranch" nearby. An enriching three days that we enjoyed very much.

Thanks for your assistance at the planning stages and for your thoughtfulness while there. The memories will linger as we tell stories to our friends and as we talk about the trip together. In fact, we are having dinner with colleagues tonight at an Italian restaurant so you can be assured Mudgee and Ardrossan will be mentioned, as we plant seeds that others we know should contemplate a trip like ours.
