Flinders is a peaceful retreat and a popular holiday retreat that has flourished with architect designed homes during recent years. The local golf club, established in the early 1900s, is one of the most scenic courses in Australia. How to get there Flinders is approximately 1.5 hours from Melbourne. Take the M1 freeway from Melbourne, linking with the Western Port freeway and then the Frankston–Flinders Road.
