Narrabri
- This town lies in the fertile Namoi River Valley, at the junction of the Narrabri Creek and the Namoi River. Cotton is the major industry of Narrabri, although the rich, black soil of the valley supports a diversity of agricultural products. Cotton, sunflower and a variety of other crops are processed at the Narrabri Oilseed Crushing Mill, one of the largest of its type in the country.
