Up to Table of Contents

This FAQ applies to: Any version.

I have written a review or article and it will not save. It asks for a location reference, what does that mean?

Adding a location reference to reviews, articles and photos:

Reviews and photos need to have a location reference to allow them to be saved.

To add a location reference to a review or photo, select the 'edit' tab on your review or photo and scroll down to the bottom of the screen.

Above the 'save' button, there is a text box called 'location reference'. Select browse

A pop up search box will appear (may take a minute to load).

Type the location into the search box and press search.

Select the locality you require and press insert.

You may now save your review or blog

NOTE: No location available? planbooktravel lists around 10,000 Australian locations, we have not included (yet)  some of the smaller suburbs and locations to try to reduce clutter on the maps. In most instances, there will be a location nearby. Please select a nearby location and advise site administrators that your location does not exist. If you supply content for that location, we will add it to the site.
