A popular picnic site with great views overlooking Mundaring Weir wall to the dam and the Lower Helena Valley. It is home to many different plant types and is especially good for wildflowers in spring.
Facilities include barbecues, toilet and display shelter.
The Bibbulmun Track (1000 kilometres award-winning walk trail from Kalamunda to Albany) can be accessed from here and leads east to Mundaring Weir (two kilometres) and west to Hewett's Hill campsite/shelter (three kilometres) and on to Kalamunda (10 kilometres from Hewett's Hill).
