Return to Broome

Coral Princess Cruises are proud to be Australia’s longest established extended cruise operator. They pioneered the concept of small ship expedition style cruising. Coral Princess Cruises offer 10 night expedition cruises between Darwin and Broome. You have the choice of two vessels, Oceanic Discoverer the new expedition vessel with a maximum of 72 guests or Coral Princess with a maximum of 48 guests. Both expeditions cruise ships are large enough to provide all the comforts and facilities you would expect of a larger vessel, yet small enough to enable you to access sites beyond the reach of a larger vessel. Coral Princess Cruises offers an open bridge policy and you will share the knowledge of the experienced Expedition Leaders and Guest Lecturers.

A 10 night exploration voyage to the Kimberley aboard Oceanic Discoverer or Coral Princess has so many highlights. Your expedition cruise begins from either Darwin or Broome. Experienced, highly informative Expedition Leaders and Guest Lectures will supervise the expedition itinerary maximising the experiences offered on the shore excursions. Sensitive arrangements are also made allowing guests to absorb the cultural remnants of one of the world’s most ancient people, the Australian Aborigine.

Excursions are aboard the specially designed excursion vessel ‘Xplorer’ and a fleet of zodiacs. The unique hydraulic platform at the stern of both ships allows absolute ease of access for all guests embarking from the main deck. Explore the gorges of the Mitchell, King George, Prince Regent and Hunter Rivers in the Kimberley.

All Coral Princess cruises are personally enriching, intellectually stimulating and on cruise completion, you will feel a sense of privilege at having widened your horizons while learning some of the planet’s intimate secrets which will remain embedded in your memory for a lifetime.
