Holmwood is just a 10 minute drive to the world famous Penguin Parade, nightly at sunset, but other lesser known attractions are also within easy reach, be it on foot, by bicycle, by boat or by car:

* Take the ferry to Seal Rock to see more than 8000 fur seals.

* Wander through the treetops at the Koala Conservation Centre to come eye to eye with koalas.

* Go 200 years back in time at beautiful Churchill Island.

* Go to French Island to see more wildlife and go for a Llama Picnic Tour.

* Walk on the boardwalk through the mangroves to Rhyll, where you'll find the locals hanging out in their favourite fish and chippery, The Foreshore.

* Visit the Phillip Island Motor Racing Circuit, home of the 500cc Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

* Go for a scenic flight around the island, and see it in all its beauty.
