Bay Charters are based in Hobart, Tasmania and offer a range of yacht charters services.

Bay Charters yacht is Mirrabooka, a German Frers 47 feet ocean going racing yacht, built in Hobart by world renown shipwrights Richardson and Devine. Specifically engineered and built to withstand the rigors and demands that the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race commands.

Launched in 1987, Mirrabooka competed in her first Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race that year and every subsequent year until 2003. She is the only boat to have competed in and finish all severe weather Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races.

Bay Charters can take you for a day cruise on the Derwent River and D'Entrecasteaux Channel, or for those who would like to experience first hand the thrill of ocean racing, Bay Charters will take you ocean racing.

Bay Charters will provide the crew, and the yacht can accommodate up to 12 persons. Charters operate with a minimum of eight persons. Refreshments are provided.

Bay Charters can tailor a sailing experience to suit your special occasion, or corporate event.
