Acton Cottages offers quality self-contained heritage bed and breakfast accommodation near Hobart. Acton cottages sit in the leafy grounds of Acton House, built in 1830. You have the choice of Acton Cottage or Acton Lodge.

Acton Cottage is just for two and offers a glowing log fire, period furniture and cosy ambience.

It has modern kitchen, bathroom and under-floor heating. The bedroom has a half-tester bed. A very private courtyard is ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee, or a meal cooked on the barbecue.

The Lodge features two bedrooms each with their own bathroom - one with a double spa and under-floor heating. The kitchen, laundry and large living room with French doors open on to a veranda overlooking fields, and the waters of Frederick Henry Bay beyond.

The property provides tranquillity and ambience whilst conveniently located to Hobart, Hobart Airport, and the major tourist attractions of southern Tasmania.

You can ride or walk on Seven Mile Beach, play golf at the Royal Hobart Golf Club, explore the Coal River Valley Wine Route, visit historic Richmond Village, home of Australia’s oldest bridge. It's only a 20 minute drive to Hobart, its many attractions, fine restaurants, and historic waterfront.
