The Paradise Regatta is a new sports tourism event for Surfers Paradise. 30 corporate sponsored rowing crews (300 competitors) from around Australia and New Zealand will arrive in Surfers for an exciting program of six events:
On Friday the first event will be launched – The Sprint Rowing Machine Competition at Circle on Cavill.
On Saturday there is a full schedule of events including: The ‘Oar Inspiring’ Breakfast at Q Deck, Q1; Paradise Regatta Race Day at the Gold Coast Arts Centre, The Paradise Regatta Ball at the Holiday Inn Surfers Paradise and the Paradise Regatta After Party at the Cavill Avenue Nightclubs.
Sunday will see the final day of the Regatta – Adventure Sunday which includes numerous Gold Coast Attractions.
Concluding the Regatta will the Griffith University Boat Race versus University of Queensland, Queensland's strongest rowing rivalry.
