Lush vine forest, dense eucalypt forest and white sandy beaches feature on Snapper Island, Hope Islands National Park. Surrounding waters and reefs are protected in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and World Heritage area. The park is also significant to the Kuku Yalanji people, the local Aboriginal Traditional Owners.

Go on a guided kayaking trip with a tour operator. Enjoy bush camping on this uninhabited and serene island. Drop in a line and try your luck fishing for mackerel and other reef fish in this popular small boat angling spot.
