Australian National Band Championships - Brisbane

The Australian National Band Championships is the annual championships of Brass and Concert Community Bands from Australia. The Championships has entries from all states of Australia as well as New Zealand and Canada. With over 400 solo performers and over 50 Bands, there will be a total of over 2000 performers.

On Saturday morning, a free Parade of Bands will be held from George Street to Adelaide Street and finishing at City Hall. With over 1000 musicians on the street, it will be a spectacular event. Friday night culminates with a Gala Concert staring the Australian Idol; Carl Riseley and featuring, direct from the U.S.A., Alaska Brass and home grown talents; The Australian Army Band.
