Located an hours drive from Cooinda in World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park is Maguk / Barramundie Gorge. A 14 kilometre four-wheel drive trip followed by a one kilometre walk leads to the base of a beautiful plunge pool. After resting, take the short but moderatly difficult climb to the top of the waterfall where crystal clear pools await that are perfect for a refreshing swim. The panoramic view also makes the hike worth the effort.
