Owned and operated by traditional Bolmo Deihdrungie clan Aboriginal people, learn about and experience an authentic and utterly fascinating journey within the heart of Kakadu National Park. Enjoy a Kakadu Culture Camp cultural experience through night or tailored tours with a three course traditional campfire dinner with barramundi and buffalo cooked on the coals, fresh cooked damper (bread) with home-made bush jams and cream, and guided bush tucker walks. Using local pandanus fibre, learn basket weaving and make a Kakadu bracelet to take home, have a go on the didjeridu or simply soak up the local billabong atmosphere while fishing. Crocodiles are often seen lurking nearby, dingos and wallabies are spotted on the rivers edge and even barramundi can be seen by underwater spotlight. You’ll learn the legend of Warramurrunggundji, Creation Mother for the Kakadu people, as well as other Aboriginal night sky stories. There is also art and craft for sale at special prices when touring with Kakadu Culture Camp.
