The Chinese Garden of Friendship offers a rare opportunity outside Asia to enjoy a tradition of landscape design that has evolved over many centuries. Step inside this exotic garden and take a journey through its winding pathways. Experience the serenity of its pavilions, lakes and waterfalls. Afterwards, contemplate the beauty around you while you relax over a jasmine tea in the traditional Chinese Teahouse.

FUNCTIONS

Create an evening to remember amidst the unique surrounds of the Chinese Garden. The lower levels of the garden can be hired for private functions from 5.30pm (closing time) until 12.00 midnight daily.

WEDDINGS

The romantic, intimate and elegant setting of the Chinese Garden provides a unique backdrop for your special day / wedding photography. Sheltered pavilions and graceful bridges provide a serene and magical atmosphere that will enhance your celebrations and create everlasting memories for you and your guests.

VISITOR INFORMATION

Located at the southern end of the Darling Harbour complex, near the Sydney Entertainment Centre and adjacent to Chinatown, the Chinese Garden of Friendship is open every day of the year from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm (except Christmas Day).
