The Byron Triathlon is a highly respected event, in one of the most beautiful locations in the world and is now an iconic event and one that is much sought after by professional competitors.

It is one of the few Olympic-distance races now held in Australia and is the last race of the Triathlon season.

It includes a 1500 metre swim, 40 kilometre cycle to Lennox Head and back and a 10 kilometre run along the foreshore of Byron Bay.

The field is capped at 950 competitors and typically attracts over 5000 spectators, flying in from around Australia and a small percentage from overseas.
