Join in singing, dancing and non-stop entertainment at the National Folk Festival this Easter.

Take part in a cultural celebration of traditional and contemporary music, dance, poetry and storytelling, staged in the nation’s capital during the Easter Break. Hundreds of the world’s best folk musicians perform daily, in a non-stop flow of entertainment across twenty two fabulous venues. Every day is packed with workshops and sessions, where you can join in the dancing, singing and playing and become part of the celebrations. Settle back and enjoy an impressive program of colourful and captivating dance displays from around the world or dance the night away at one of the dances, played by the finest dance bands in the country. Listen to yarns, storytelling and poetry, or join one of the many jam sessions taking place under the trees. With 55 craft stalls to explore and a special kids program, the National Folk Festival will entertain the whole family.
