DESTINATION: Mount Buffalo National Park

Mount Buffalo NP, established over 100 years ago, is 350km NE of Melbourne and covers 310km. It's a year-round family attraction, with snowsports in winter and wildflowers and walking in summer. It is notable as one of Victoria's top hang-gliding and rockclimbing spots, and offers wonderful views. Visitors can camp or stay in comfort at the historic Chalet or at Tatra Lodge. Facilities include picnic areas, BBQs, toilets and well-marked walking tracks.
