DESTINATION: Tweed Heads

Tweed Heads

Sitting on the New South Wales border next to Coolangatta in Queensland, Tweed Heads and Coolangatta have been labelled the 'Twin Towns' and form a family holiday resort destination at the southern end of the Gold Coast tourist strip. Quieter than the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads is an ideal holiday base, with accommodation to suit all budgets and easy access to beaches and the towns and villages of the hinterland. For a change of pace, the Gold Coast with its nightlife and themed attractions is only a few kilometres north.
