Ariah Park, 34km west, is a village listed by the National Trust as a Conservation Area. Notable buildings include the Lyons' Wool Store, the hotel, and the Westpac and National banks. Therapeutic benefits are claimed for the Mineral Pool at nearby Barmedman.
